Black hole candidates usually exhibit aperiodic X-ray time variablities.
Sometimes, however, various periodic or quasi-periodic variabilities/oscillations
have been also observed. Not only the shortest (~0.01 Hz) ones, but also longest
ones (~ day or years), are thought to be related with the accretion disk.
In this talk, I will review various periodic variabilities, and introduce
the MAXI mission focusing on the detection of such variabilities.
