  Transportation
------------------
Chiba University is located between Narita ("New Tokyo")
  International Airport and Tokyo downtown.

  (a) From Narita airport to Chiba station:
The easiest way is to catch the JR line to Chiba. Please note
that the "Narita Express" does not stop at Chiba station. Take
"JR line rapid service" from Narita Airport station.

  (b) From Chiba station to the campus:
At Chiba station that the train from the airport directly
takes you, transfer to "the JR Sobu line local." Nishi-Chiba
station, the closest station to the campus is just a station
ride from Chiba, which takes 3 minutes. This JR Sobu line takes
off at Chiba every 10 minutes or so, and it is really easy from
Chiba to Nishi-Chiba. The south gate of the university is found
in front of the north exit of Nishi-Chiba station.

---------------
  Weather
---------------
Weather in March will generally be fine in Chiba, but we
occasionally have rain or snow. The average temperature of the
day will be around 10 degree in Celsius.

---------------
  AC power
---------------
The AC power available in Chiba is 100V 50Hz. The plug shape is
2-pin that is similar to the US standard except for no ground pin.
